Missing teeth can lower your self-esteem, jeopardize your health and ultimately lower your quality of life. At Tuscany Dental Care, we give patients affordable and natural-looking restorative dental treatments to replace missing teeth. Our dentures are beautifully crafted and custom fit to ensure you are confident while speaking and chewing. Neglecting to replace missing teeth can lead to poor nutrition, premature facial aging (due to bone loss) and other serious consequences. With our variety of advanced denture options, patients can replace their missing teeth in a way that fits their lifestyle and budget.
Full & Complete Dentures
If you have lost all of your teeth in the upper and/or lower arch, you may benefit from a complete (or full) denture. During the denture process, precise impressions and measurements are taken and used to fabricate your custom denture. While some patients want to regain the smile they once had, others choose this as an opportunity to get the smile they have always wanted. Our dentures are custom crafted in size, color and shape for the most natural-looking results possible.
At Tuscany Dental Care, we use a local laboratory and can complete your removable prosthesis in 3 to 5 visits over about a month’s time. You can expect to have one or more “try-in” appointments to ensure your dentures fit properly and look the way you want them to. At the final appointment, Dr. Duque will place the completed denture and refine any adjustments needed for the most secure fit. While removable dentures are the most conventional type of dentures, you may also choose to secure your dentures with dental implants. Implanted supported dentures offer a long-lasting and confident tooth replacement solution.
A partial denture is most appropriate when you still have some natural teeth still remaining. A partial not only fills in the spaces created by missing teeth, but it also prevents other teeth from shifting. This benefits both the aesthetics and health of your smile.
While it is normal to experience increased saliva flow, mild soreness, and possible speech and chewing difficulty, these symptoms should subside shortly as your mouth adjusts. Please let us know if you experience ongoing challenges, as we will make adjustments until your new smile feels as comfortable as it should.
